Vaidehi Seva Samithi

Vaidehi Seva Samithi started in Hyderabad in the year 1993 as a unit of Seva Bharathi, to focus on the problems of Women and Children.

Achievements of Vaidehi Seva Samithi

  • Three rooms’ three girls in rented house in 1993 to at present we are able to accommodate about 120 girls in our own promises.
  • Thirty girls are graduated some post graduates.
  • 21 Girls are employed or self employed.
  • 25 Ashramam girls are married and they are happy in their in law’s houses.
  • 75 Vaidehi Kishori Vikas centers are doing commendable work in slum areas
  • About 50 family problems were amicably solved through counseling by the Vaidehi Mahila Vikasa Samithi
  • Private employment was provided for 8 women in distress through Vaidehi Mahila Vikasa Samithi
  • About 150 women were trained in tailoring and embroidery and about 90 women out of them are earning their livelihood through Vaidehi Mahila Vikasa Samithi

Milestones in the Journey of Vaidehi Seva Samithi:

  • Started in the year 1993
  • Foundation stone laid for the first new building by Sri Suryanarayana garu, Akhila Bharatha Seva Pramukh in the year 1999.
  • Inauguration of building by Sri. Mohan Rao Bhagavath ji, Sarkaryavah RSS in the year 2000.
  • Started Vaidehi Kishori Vikasa Yojana in the year 2004
  • Started Vaidehi Mahila Vikasa Samithi in the year 2010
  • Viswa vibhag camp an International training programme for women was conducted for 10 days in August 2008.

The main objectives of the Seva Samithi are:

  • In general to work in every way for elimination of all types of social evils.
  • To inculcate and develop a spirit of service amongst women.

To achieve these objectives Vaidehi Seva Samithi has started three projects, viz.,

All these 3 projects are managed by separate executive bodies constituted by the samithi. Vaidehi Seva Samithi has been recognized by the woman and child welfare Department of the State Government. It has also got certificate of exemption under 80G of Income Tax Act. Government of India has accorded permission to the samithi to receive donations under FCRA (Foreign Contributions Regulation Act)
